A new model to lead’s Dubai economic transformation and position the city as a global business hub, Sheikh Mohammed posted on Twitter.

“The three new chambers have historic responsibilities of boosting our international trade, advancing our digital economy, protecting the interests of entrepreneurs and business owners, and supporting the Government of Dubai in establishing the world’s best economic ecosystem.”, Sheikh Mohammed said on Twitter

“We need to adopt new economic thinking, new work mechanisms and develop a legislative system that is the most flexible and most supportive of Dubai’s economy.” HH Mohammed added on Twitter.

The chambers will be key to developing the business environment in Dubai and “enhancing the emirate’s position as the capital of finance and business in the region and a commercial center that is the most active in the world”, he said.

As part of this, the emirate plans to adopt a new Dubai International Trade Map. Dubai already has shipping and air links with more than 400 cities around the world, and 200 new cities will be added to consolidate the emirate’s role in global trade.

A five-year plan was also approved to raise the value of the emirate’s foreign trade exchange to Dh2 trillion ($544.5 billion), from Dh1.4tn.
